My diet was not really on my mind. When I got home I worried that I would not have lost any weight. I did. I lost 2 lbs more.
This past Wednesday I had my first fill. I was surprised by how little I felt. It was quick and quite painless. I definitely feel more restriction than I had. I have an appointment for 4 weeks for my 2nd fill. Maybe I'll be lucky enough not to need it. The doc said that I have to wait a couple more weeks before I can do any abdominal exercise.
My personal goal is to head back to the gym next week. I want to give my port a little more time before I start lifting the kids in/out of the car at the gym. So, after this week is over I'll be at the gym at least 5 days per week. Wahoo. I'm excited to start adding a workout. I've lost 24lbs since surgery and can't wait to see how my body reacts to adding cardio. I'm going to wait another 2 weeks for circuit training, only because it is the new year and the gym is packed. In a couple of weeks I'll be able to really have a good exercise regime going. YAY!
We did end up getting a dog. We had planned on getting a girl but this little boy pup just wanted to come home with us. Yesterday was an unseasonably warm day. It was in the 50's in NY in January. I took the kids outside with the dog and we just ran around for quite a while. It was great fun. My pants were falling off. :-) That's a good thing. The only problem is that I'm still not quite ready to go down a size. In between sizing is annoying. It's a problem that I'm happy to have.
